THE LAW FIRM OF RICHARD GLEN BOIRE ("Attorney") and "Client" hereby agree that Attorney will provide legal services to Client on the terms set forth below. 1. Client has informed Attorney that he or she may have suffered one or more criminal convictions in California. Client is interested in retaining Attorney to expunge these convictions, but Attorney must first evaluate Client's Criminal History Report maintained by the California Department of Justice (DOJ). Client desires to have attorney evaluate his or her DOJ criminal record. 2. Attorney himself or through Associate Counsel, agrees to evaluate Client's DOJ criminal record. 3. Client agrees to pay Attorney a flat fee of $95. The fee is earned upon receipt. Attorney will provide Client with instructions for obtaining his or her DOJ criminal record. Client also agrees to obtain and pay (about $35) for a Livescan fingerprint. 4. The full amount of this fee must be paid at the time this agreement is executed. 5. Attorney will use his best efforts and professional training and experience on behalf of Client. Nothing in this Agreement and nothing in Attorney's statements to Client will be construed as a promise or guarantee about the outcome of the matter. Attorney's comments about the outcome of the matter are expressions of opinion only. 6. By retaining Attorney under the terms of this agreement an Attorney-Client relationship is created, ensuring the confidentiality of all information Client shares with Attorney. 7. Client agrees to promptly provide all information requested by Attorney and to cooperate fully in providing Attorney with the information required to perform the professional legal services described in this agreement. 8. Client acknowledges and agrees that Attorney's services are retained solely with regard to the specific legal services described in this agreement (i.e., to evaluate client's DOJ criminal record). Attorney is not undertaking to represent Client for any other reason. 9. If Client subsequently decides to retain Attorney to handle his expungement or any other record-cleaning remedy, the full amount of client's $95 paid pursuant to this agreement will be applied toward the subsequent fee. 10. This agreement expresses our full and complete understanding, unless amended in writing subscribed to by both Client and Attorney. 11. Jurisdiction and venue for any dispute between Client and Attorney, shall be exclusively held in Yolo County in the State of California. 12. This agreement is effective when Client click the "I Agree" button and makes his or her $95 payment. 13. This agreement is executed in duplicate, the receipt of a copy of which is hereby acknowledged by the undersigned. I have read all of the above, understand it, and agree to it.
